An initial nutritional consultation runs for one hour, during which we will discuss your current dietary habits and lifestyle, chat about your health and wellness goals, explore your relationship with food. Together, we will use this information to create simple sustainable recommendations tailored to your nutrition and wellness goals, that fit with your lifestyle. You may be asked to fill in a short food diary to help better understand more about your dietary habits - if this is necessary, I will let you know before we meet.
How many consultations do I need to have? (click to show)How many consultations do I need to have? (click to hide)
That all depends on you and why you having a nutrition consultation.
You may just need a one-off session to answer a nutrition question or to validate that you really do know what a healthy diet is for you.
Or, you may have a specific nutrition goal that you are aiming for and you feel you want some accountability to help you it.
Whatever the reason, we can discuss how many sessions you might need during your discovery call or at the end of your initial consultation.
Will you give me a meal plan? (click to show)Will you give me a meal plan? (click to hide)
No, but there is a good reason for that.
From my experience working with clients, following a meal plan only works temporarily. Either the plan finishes and you go back to your old habits or life simply gets in the way of following it. So, we work together to create healthy eating and lifestyle habits that fit your life and incorporate the foods that you like.

Absolutely! Eating well to improve or maintain your health is important, but restrictive dieting and obsessing over food is not the answer.
What sort of nutrition advice do you give? (click to show)What sort of nutrition advice do you give? (click to hide)
The main areas of nutrition that I work in are:
- Gut and digestive health
- Coeliac disease - living your best gluten-free life
- Low FODMAP diet to manage Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Ditching diets and finding food freedom
- Healthy eating for healthy living
And if I can't help you, I'll try to recommend someone who can.
Do you recommend and/or sell supplements? (click to show)Do you recommend and/or sell supplements? (click to hide)
Whether or not I recommend supplements all depends on your situation.
I don't promote expensive, quick fixes; I take a food first approach. We look to where we can improve your nutrient intake through adding in different foods, or sometimes simply more food. However, under certain situations, such as a nutrient deficiency, supplements may be beneficial.
I do not sell supplements or have any association with any particular brands. If I do recommend supplements it will not be for personal financial gains.
